What is The Steel Post & Rail System?

 

The Steel Post and Rail System is a relatively simple system that replaces the way we used to build yards. The posts have the rail profiles cut into them and the rails slide through and then are welded together on site forming a superior weld join.

 

What Sets the Steel Post & Rail System above all Others?

 

The System allows us to move away from expensive light weight panel formats and replace them with Heavy Duty Round Posts up to 400mm diameter and Square Posts up to 450 x 450mm.

Cattle producers can opt to use any type and size of rail they wish including, pipe, square RHS, oval, K-Rail and cable with the rails running through the posts.

 

Why was the Steel Post & Rail System Developed?

 

With second hand material becoming scarce and panel formats becoming lighter and more expensive, Douglas Stockyards knew there was a strong market for a system that allowed ultimate strength, ease of installation and above all else an economical solution that does not effect the strength of the end product.
